If you want to keep the hide, or make a mount of a striking animal you have, just let us know! With a little extra effort we can produce a cape or rug for you to take to your taxidermist!
This job particulary impressed us. A heifer was the animal of choice, but the family gathering was amazing! Four generations came together to package the meat as fast as we could generate it, as they were done a mere 10 minutes after we were! Furthermore, the oldest member had just had her 90th birthday, and was still right there in the middle of things kicking butt and taking names!
We will do Wild hogs as well as domestic; indeed we have done thousands of these tasty fellows over the years! With proper handling, wild hog is extremely tasty and not at all gamey regardless of size or gender. Just remember; They must be alive, not dead! Cearbhall Home Slaughter does not do any dead animals simply because we can't guarantee the quality of meat from an animal that has been dead an unknown length of time from unknown causes.
Never eat an animal that has died of illness, unkown reasons, or at an unknown time! Only eat animals that you have deliberately killed for eating.
